mini dvd probs

I have a mini dvd camcorder, i have recorded on a disc, when i put it in my dvd drive i am told it is blank?
I check it in the camcorder and it has my recordings on it. Where, somebody, am i going wrong?

I don't know for sure about this but is the disc from your camcorder a smaller size than a dvd? I have the impression that it might be so that might bethe reason.
Some discs need to be "Finalised" before they will play in other equipment.Check your camcorder manual to see if this is the case.
Are you recording onto DVD Rom & if so is your drive compatible?

We had this problem. We were sold a camcorder on the understanding that it would play in any player - what we weren't told was that it would only play if it was a DVD Rom compatible drive. We had to purchase a secondary disc drive that would work.
