Printer not working

Overnight my Lexmark printer refuses to work. Going through the usual procedure to print from e-mail or a website, the printer switches on, makes the usual noises to get ready to print, the voice-over advises that printing is about to begin and the printing indicator on the bottom right of the screen comes on but only for a moment then nothing happens. Has anyone any ideas? I am using IE 7 with a Speedtouch modem.

It's OK, I have been able to get my problem solved. My technician diagnosed that my printer driver needed to be re-installed which he did. Everything OK now.
