I'm having a problem with my CD drives and was hoping someone could help... Every time I insert a CD (any type) the icon of the CD drive in 'My Computer' doesn't change, there is no title (it simply says: CD Drive E:) and auto-run won't start. However when I open the drive all the files are there and I can use them normally. This started happening a few days ago and it's really annoying. I use Far Stone's Virtual Drive but I doubt that's the source of the problem since I've been using it for over a year now and all was fine before.... Please help!!! :((

I'm not exactly sure what your problem is; can I assume you want your CDs to start automatically when placed in your tray? If so, go to your Control Panel and d/click "System", then click the Device Manager tab. Click the + sign against CDRom and highlight your (or one of your) CD drives. Look towards the bottom and click "Properties" and click the Settings tab. Place a tick in the "Auto insert notification" and do this for all your drives. Click "OK" all the way back and reboot. Hope this helps.
