Yes they are available. I don't know what are the best makes, but as a price guide Richer Sounds (www.richersounds.com) have a Philips multi-region at �229.95 and a Panasonic at �345

No need to spend that much. The cheapest ones are now under �100. Look on http://www.empiredirect.co.uk There's a Sony one on there for about �90
