My computer keeps defaulting to English U.S even though i keep setting it to English U.K and clicking apply. Is this a fault with Microsoft word or is there something i'm not doing?
When i type a word for instance colour, i right-click and change the setting to English U.K but it always seems to default back once i re-type the word or another English/American spelling.

when you right click go to language and then set language

Select English UK and then click on default
In Word the language setting is usually in the Tools menu.
The language selection is normally automatic and tied in with your country information. As you keep having to change this check out your country settings. Click Start, Settings, Control Panel and then Regional and Language Options. Check to see if English (United Kingdom) and not English (United States).
sorry more to previous, if English US is selected change to English UK and then click Apply and OK. You may have to restart the PC to take effect.
