Is all file sharing illigal? I have found what looks like a credible website that asks for a years subsricption fee for the chance to download file sharing software. The reason I am wondering is that over the period of a year one could download more than enough music to justify the cost ofthe subsription, so it just seems a bit dodgy.

Anyway any enlightenment would be handy, tar

I recently joined a site that you mention and paid a years subscription. Only recently got back on the internet after being off it for 4 years, and before that i was on the net for 10 years, so i'm not a novice. It is illegal to use these file sharing P2P sites (they used to be free) and there is a big risk if you don't very good security on your comp that you could pick up viruses, trojans etc...be careful!!
Don't pay!!!
They're all as illegal as the free ones, so why pay for them?
The software and use of the sites is not actually illegal, it's the sharing of copyrighted material that is.
why dont you just download limewire. its the best file sharing facility known thats free and has like 95% of whatever you want. why pay when you dnt hav to
