DVD burning

i am using arcsoft showbiz dvd. i have 4 files each of just under 1 GB each - all are saved in the Arcsoft dvd format. if i try to burn the files as a dvd it tells me i dont have enough disc space but the dvd+rw i have is 4.7GB capacity. any ideas???

If I remember rightly the total size of all the files to go on a DVD video must be less than 4.38Gb. I'm not sure how Arcsoft DVD works but if it is authoured to DVD-video format then you should have your 4 .vob files, a VIDEO_TS.VOB file, a few .IFO files, and a couple of .BUP files. If your .vob files are 1Gb each and you still can't fit them on - how big is your menu file VIDEO_TS.VOB? This could be pushing the size over the maximum. Hope this helps
I may be wrong - just noticed that you have a dvd+rw drive - mine's a dvd-rw. Not sure if they work in similar ways.
