Mobile ring tone

I have recently downloaded a ringtone for my Samsung D800, the volume is fine when i listen to it but when someone calls it is really quiet and i can bearly hear it, the ring volume is set to the highest setting and i cant seem to find anything else that could be changed.
Does anyone have any ideas as it is really buggung me!
