I have a controlled document that I have converted to html. Is it possible to remove the option to print the web page from internet explorer using code? Also can I stop people from copying the text into Word? Thanks for any help.

No - there is very little you can do to actually control the browser hosting your page. It is NOT possible to disable the print option nor to prevent cut and pasting of the page text. You might want to consider converting the page to PDF format which will render in a browser (with the Acrobat viewer addin). I think (but please check) that it is possible to disable printing in this type of document and I also believe you cannot cut and paste from the PDF viewer. To convert the page you will need to buy the appropriate Adobe tools.

Yeah I thought as much. Thanks
Adding to this: you can encrypt your pdf document and prevent people cutting and pasting with the full Acrobat application if you so wish.
But it won't stop them doing screenprints and using ocr to recover the text. I've done this with non-printable pdf docs that I really wanted.
snap smorodina, srip and ocr works for me.
