Selling an i-pod

If I sell my i pod will the next person who owns this be able to access my i tunes account as the ipod is registered to me? I recently uninstalled i tunes from my pc, reinstalled it and then plugged the i-pod in and it recognised it and came up with my ipod name. Thanks
