this isnt a question, but i thought i would let you know of the problems i faced when i installed IE7.. I dont know very much about computers and have always gone for any updates, but never again, i lost all my toolbars and was nearly pulling out my hair wondering what to do next , by sheer luck i landed on a help page ( i think ) for microsoft and it seems this is a common problem with IE7, anyway to cut a long story short i deleted the program and everything is back to normal, i do have an extra toolbar now of google, dont know how i got it but it is a bonus

Hi moppy, I installed IE7 and think it's brill, I didn't lose any toolbars or anything. I already had the google toobar installed anyway. Don't get me wrong when I first installed it I thought... OMG whats going on here......they have made the toolbar much more simple....Instead of the BACK button it's just an arrow now........took me a few mins to find the Refresh button though.....but it's those arrows pointing up and down.... I do install all the updates as I think it keeps my PC upto date.....btw it does give you options as in what page you want to open with......and toolbars and things like that. x
No real answer but I sympathise with your experience. I downloaded IE7 and it seemed OK at first but I couldn't access my email - no little envelope to open! I couldn't find any way of seeing my email, other than accessing from my IP directly, so I reverted back to IE6 straight away. I may have missed something but IE7 did not appear to be an improvement at first sight.
Cheers, Andy
I liked IE7 but HP all in one printers have an issue with it and some of the software doesn't gel with it. (HP's words not mine)
A computer expert on the radio said that there is a problem with IE7 and Incredimail.
I wouldn't use IE7. I recommend using Mozilla Firefox.
Hi all,

In IE7 if you right click the grey area on the right hand side at the top of the page you can install your e-mail tools and all the others that you require.

Regards
Hi moppy
Go with Carby's advice and install the FIREFOX browser. It's cleaner, safer and less prone to attack than IE7 which will still be available on your system if you chose to revert back. Personally I wouldn't touch IE with a barge pole, all versions have security issues firefox resolves.
I should have mentioned the FireFox download includes the Google toolbar !
Well after all - it's the worlds best search engine for the worlds best browser....
