I think that what skellen said is the right answer, try a site called "singing fish" search for the song or music mentioned and you should be able to play it then decide if its the one you are thinking of.

yeah someone called Schnitz asked this a week or so ago.

HE then says it is Requiem Dies irae by Verdi

a music buff can tell us if this is the same.

the Dies Irae is a part of the mass only said once in the year and has a funny name -
and sort of goes
Dies irae, Dies illa,
something something *** sybilla,
something else something else et favilla.
