Hi all - My PC has 1Gb DDR2 5300 (667Mhz) running in Single Channel mode - i know that it will switch to channel if i add another identical ram stick. My question is, is that would this make a big difference to performance, or isnt it really worth it? Thanks PM.

I have 2 gig of DDR but to be honest I don't think it is any faster than 1 gig unless you want to play some very memory hungry games.
Definately. Dual channel makes a huge difference. Download SiSoft and do a memory bandwidth bench before and after, you'll be blown away!
