din't log out properly on my laptop now when i try to switch on have just got a blank screen can anyone tell me what i have to do?

there should be a hardware reset button on the laptop. Otherwise take off power lead, and take out the battery for a minute then power up. If no good try booting up in safe mode (pressing F10 continuously i, when you power up.

thanks derryman it worked by removing battery then just using power cable.
