recently received a download of song lyrics got them to my desktop,the file is called attach 3? but when i try to open it it asks what i would like to open it with.tried all things listed,any ideas?

Transfering information from an old computer.

If it song lyrics, I am guessing it is nothing but text. Try to open the file(s) with good old MS Notepad.
