I have had a Panasonic 42" plasma for a number of years (TH32PI)

It started off life on an exhibition stand and is a commercial model. We moved house recently and the screen worked but whilst having some renovations done we put it away.

When we put it back up last night, we couldnt get an image. The BNC input connecto was always dodgy and you had to get it just right.

But this time, all I can get is a blue square on the bottom of the screen about 300mm x 300mm which then disappears after a few mins.

Anyone else had the same experience? Are they worth repairing?

plasmas have lifespan of 10,000 hrs which may sound a lot but in reality its only a few years so maybe yours needs re-gassing ? especially if it was a display model on 12 hours a day every day.
