IU used to be able to back up all my files onto a CD-RW by just copy and pasting in windows explorer onto my CD. I could also right click my cd drive and select erase, allowing me to erase the cd.

Now it will not allow me to copy and paste onto any cd, and the "erase" function has dissapeared.

I also used to be able to select which of my 2 cd drives I could select as my default copier, that right click option has now also gone. I have not installed any software or changed any settings.

Please help!!

Try right-clicking the drive(s), selecting Properties and if the Recording tab is available, check that recording is enabled.
Ooops! I'm guessing that's what you meant. have you tried checking for newer drivers for your drives?
