hi my dvd/cd burer on my travelmate 2300 lap top has stopped working for no reason... any odeas? I cant wipe the software and put it back on again as I will lose all the stuff saved on it that i need to burn .

help me please? what has caused it?
can i fix it?
how do i sort it?

Are you sure it's a software problem? Can you play cd/dvds?

yes cds and dvds playtok but i really cannot burn anything and have no idea why - it always used to work have no idea why it doesnt any more?
