I want to buy a Tom Tom for my Treo 650 phone but am not sure if it would be affected by the heated windscreen on my car.
Does anybody know if it will or won't work properly?

When you say TomTom for your phone, do you mean the software or a unit such as the 710 to use with the phone? If the former then does it come with Bluetooth GPS unit, if so then you can put the GPS in the rear window where it will work fine. If the latter then you'll need an extension aerial to attach somewhere other than the heated windscreen.

Yes, it's the Navigator 5 with Bluetooth GPS. Th car is a VW Sharan (people carrier) so doesn't really have a parcel shelf in the rear window to put it. I could d somewhere to dangle it, I suppose.
