TomTom seems to be selling well, but which is the best (reliability, 7 digit post code etc)? At around the 300 mark

Can't say enough about my TomTom100 Mog - Passed my test only 6 months ago and I wouldn't say I was very confident as a driver at all, but it really does make it so much easier.

It searches by road, postcode or landmark, and was a snip at about 250.00. It corrects itself if you go the wrong way, and I managed my first 100 mile motorway journey using it. The screen is clear, and can be changed to night vision mode for driving in the dark, but the voice prompts are accurate and clear enough that I find I don't need to look at it much.

The only downside is that the battery doesn't last long, so you need to keep it plugged into your cigarette lighter socket as you drive, although you can buy at-home chargers for extra I think.
I think TomTom is a good one too my sister has one and its really good compared to the one my friend had when we went Alton towers, we ended up driving the wrong way down a one way road then stopped by the police! Don't know the name of the rubbish one think it begins with g though.
