Mails wont go from my MS Outlook outbox

Strange thing started happening today.

When I compose a new message and press send it doesn't go. It just sits in my outbox forever (or until I delete it) If I reply to a message, even if I change the recipient name, it goes ok unless there is an attachment, in which case it too sits in my outbox.

The only thing that has changed recently is that I have bought a new router

Further development. I spoke to a nice man at my ISP this morning who asked me to turn off my anti virus software and try it. It worked without any problem at all.

I use Panda Platinim 2005 so I'll go on their website and see if I can find anything. Meanwhile if anyone has any bright ideas.....

And there's more.

Having turned all my security back on it still works ok.

Maybe this is a tip. If you install a new router turn your security off then back on again
