downloading from the net

i get an error message 403 if i try to download from the net can anyone help please

Is this for everything you download, or just some things?

the 403 HTTP code means that you're forbidden to access the file you're trying to access.

i have dam a download manager as i am on a gprs modem i have just tried to download a file recovery program and its going ok atm but i had two options a http or a ftp i dont know the differance but it came the error 403 so i chose the ftp and its worked but i dont see this option on other downloads
