Less buggy.

More secure.

More adaptable - you can have it as bareboned or full on as you like, with downloadable extensions.

Tabbed browsing - makes life so much easier.

Give it a whirl - you still keep IE for certain sites (sadly) but you will enjoy it.

Go on - you know you want to.

Renders a lot faster too. I had to use IE for the first time in about three years last week (I originally used the Mozilla browser - now SeaMonkey - before moving on to Firefox) and jeez, it's slow!
Wow !!! I just installed it, as I'd heard so much about it and WAOW ! It IS extremely fast ! I'm well impressed.
The layout is going to take some getting used to, but so far ( about 5 minutes ), all is well !
It is also blocking pop-ups on a particular site that IE never completely blocked !

Don't forget you can add downloads such as fasterfox to make it even faster.

I suggest downloading the following three extensions as a start:

- Adblock Plus
- Tab Mix Plus
- Fasterfox

All three can be found on the main Mozilla extensions pages. All three improve the whole experience.

For me, it's the tabbed browsing (though IE7 does do this) and more importantly the cool add-ons you can get. My faves are TabMix Plus, DownThemAll and SearchEngineOrdering.
