laptop to TV connection

I have a panasonic plasma TV, and want to connect my laptop to it.......what leads etc do I need and will I be able to use the TV scren just like the laptop screen.....................thanks

An S VIDEO cable, assuming both your laptop and TV have the S video sockets.

Although I've just noticed my link shows a plug one end and socket t'other. You would probably need a plug both ends.
