I have BT Openworld Broadband at a cost of 29.99 per month and I now see that there is BT Broadband at only 27 per month. What is the difference and am I getting anything for my extra 3 ? Thanks.

I'd give them a call.. put them on the spot, I have feeling it may come down to the fact that they have reduced the cost of their broadband service to remain competative and so given it a slightly different name so existing subscribers keep paying the same (this has happened with BT before), Unless of course you do get extra features such as ree calls included... and perhaps it would be worth checking the relative speeds incase the cheaper one is slower, but my original point is the best solution... phone them
i think it's because with openworld you have to pay on a credit/debit card, bt broadband has a direct debit facility so you can take advantage of a discount. once again a case of early adopters losing out. (will this answer be deleted)
The reason for this is because the cheaper service is self installation and they don't provide any email service. This is what BT say.
