I've noticed some weird goings on with the clock on my PC over the past couple of weeks, eg, I turned the PC off at 8-36pm on Monday 25/11 and when I turned it back on on Tuesday morning, the clock showed 1-24pm 25/11. Now, I can understand the clock stopping if the battery is rs - but going backwards?? What prompted me to post this question was that I was working on my PC this morning when the mains power went off (only for a couple of seconds), when it came back on and my machine re-booted, the clock had gone backwards nearly half an hour! Any suggestions?

I know this is cheating a bit, but if you need expert help you could do a lot worse than go to www.AllExperts.com. They answer questions on any and every topic. They won't give you an instant answer but they'll e-mail you with one within a few days.
If your pc is quite old, the battery on the motherboard could be failing.
