wrong codec

Im sick to death of my computer telling me that i have the wrong codec in windows media player is there a program i can buy that will play everything.

If Media Player is set to access the internet as and when it pleases, it should download the right codec automatically. Alternatively, you can browse the web and download codecs manually.

You could try K-lite codec pack. It contains just about all known codecs

Tools - options - player - download codecs automatically. If the codec isn't supported by good ol M$ then WMP won't download it.

Try the K-Lite codec pack and player. It plays just about everything.
