Does anybody have the name & contact details of any company making three piece suites to specification? When ours is replaced I want to buy one where the seating height is higher than average, rather than having to search for ugly-looking gadgets which raise the height of sofas and chairs. Thanks

Thank you Dot and Chris for your helpful suggestions. I shall be following up. I haven't quite worked out how I can satisfactorily buy furniturely remotely without trying it for comfort and height first but to date I haven't been able to find anything in any furniture showrooms which meet the additional seating height requirement I am looking for.

Whoops. What went wrong there? Technology is obviously having a bad hair day !!.
You could try sofaworkshop.co.uk they have high street stores and a website .We got ours from there and it's all made to order but not positive about the height thing. You could email them a question, then find your nearest store on the website by entering your postcode. Our sofa has been fantastic and still looks brilliant even after a few year.Pricey but worth the money!
A friend of mine got one made to spec at DFS
Chalford Chairs in Gloucestershire are excellent, they made a suite for Geoff Capes among others!
