Has anybody subscribed to any suppliers offering satellite viewing (football, movies etc) on their pc's? If so are any of them worth the money?

Are you a Sky subscriber ?, if so, you can watch movies and sky sports on your pc for no extra charge.

Quality is ok and it takes about an hour to download a movie which is watchable for up to a month before its not usable any more.
If you mean these offers to watch live football etc.on your PC, I did once, think it cost me something like 3 for a year - what you get is streaming live football from (mainly chinese) TV channels showing live sports, even at 3pm on a saturday which is not shown in the UK - you'd get a link prior to the kick off and have to use WInamp to load the link and watch the game - it was very hit or miss though, sometimes you get on to watch it and its fine, other times its constant buffering and breaking up of picture due to so many watching - another problem was that the link was for "members only" but once some people got the link they would obviously tell their friends and the server would get full quite rapidly - I figured that for 3 it was worth a try though- the site is now no longer there ,
Winamp is very good in its own right for Internet TV and radio, has plenty of channels.
