Can't Get 'New Folder' To Come Up On My Laptop.

Using 'file explorer' in files and folder I used to be able to right click on a folder and could creat a new folder. Just recently I've lost this ability. I've Googled the problem but the suggestions I got haven't resolved the problem.  Any one know what might have happened?

prev I've Recently Experenced A Lot Of Problems With Outlook In Ms 365.

It's now, frustratingly, under 'more' at the bottom of the drop down menu.

Sorry but none of the above suggestions work for me. 'New' has vanished when I right click. I've been having to resort to 'Copy' and then change the name to get around this but it's very tedious.

In the folder where you want to create a new folder, right click in an empty space, the bottom option is "show more options", click that, then "new" appears as before.

Ah that explains it.  In the good old tradition of IT I wont be moving over until the bugs have been ironed out 😁

Would need new laptops anyway so that isnt going to happen any time soon.

You won't get a New option in W11 by clicking on a folder.

You have to go to the required location in File Explorer then add New
