Watching Rugby (Eng v Chile)last night and rang a pal who was watching same game, to say something about the score. His picture was 5 mins behind mine!! Am wondering "How Come??" "That was a great try!" said I "What try ?" said my friend 6 miles away. How can this happen when we are both getting our signals via the internet ???????

Could he have paused at some point? There can be a difference of a few seconds between different media but 5 mins seems a lot.
