My wife had an older Doro mobile some years ago.
One of the features was to answer an incoming call by simply opening the "clam lid".
Then closing to end call.
I am unable to find it this 6620 is the same.
It turned out to be a bit of a nuisance as if you did not want to answer someone or if you thought it was a scam call once you opened the lid it was too late.
Anyone out there with a 6620 that can advise please.

Doh! In plain sight. Thanks both
The facility that you're referring to is called 'Answer Mode'. It's an optional feature, meaning that it can be enabled/disabled as required.

With Answer Mode disabled, it's necessary to press the green button, after opening the lid, in order to answer a call. With it enabled though, a call can be answered simply by opening the lid. (There's also a further option within Answer Mode, whereby pressing any key at all, other than the red one, can be used to answer a call after opening the lid).

As Douglas says, the way to enable/disable Answer Mode is given on page 13 of the manual:

I'll have to learn to type a bit faster ;-)
