Stylus for playing 45 rpm records

We're about to embark on trying to convert our 33 rpm & 45 rpm vinyl records to CD via computer but haven't used our record deck for a long time. Do we use the same stylus for 33 & 45 rpm? I know we have to change the speed button. Thanks.

Yes, same stylus for 33 and 45. 78 was the one that needed a different stylus.

Many thanks. It's been so long since we used it, my memory was a bit hazy.
you could try limewire. it's a site to download stuff from. if you allready own the lp & 45 then i would think you are ok to copy them to cd for your own use without infringing copywrites. (unless someone knows better) you also get a better quality sound.
