I'm looking for a DAB/FB portable radio for use in the bathroom. It must be USB chargeable, not AA batteries and above all, easy to preset a few stations.

I already have an old one (i-Star) with about 20 presets and I have only managed to lock one station.

Now, I'm not entirely stupid but the Users' Manual would boil the brains of a Bletchley code breaker !
So, my beloved ABers, I am sure there is one of you out there who is as dim as me who has managed to overcome the situation I am in and could recommend a tameable radio as described, preferably in the £30 -£60 bracket. Over to you.
Many thanks.

DAB/FM not 'DAB/ FB'
Told you I was dim !
I have a Pure Evoke radio. Very easy to find various stations.
Sorry, Derek. I have just looked at the current price.
They're a bit more expensive than you want to pay. Ignore my recommendation.

Thank you, Tilly. I may bring myself to prise open the piggy bank.

But, I've just realised ( stupid me) that my innocent question may be mistaken for a promotional subterfuge. Sorry Ed !

Cheers.

I would be thinking about a Sony...
Roberts sell refurbed radios much cheaper than the brand-new price. We bought one and it's spotless and works a treat. Worth looking at.
I`m not really sure what you mean when you say not AA batteries. Do you mean you want a radio that runs of rechargeable batteries? And why USB chargeable?

A lot of portable radios are powered by 4 AA batteries or mains electricity. Some radios, however, can be charged by USB cables to a PC (must be a built-in battery) as well as having AA batteries - but no mains charging.

Thank you all for your input. I'm not too bothered by the make/brand, it's the simplicity of effecting presets I'm after. Some maker's models differ from other models from the same source.
Oh OK. I didn't know that.
go into any pawn shop - they have zillions....

Barry, Well, mine is an i-Star radio made by the same company and no longer produced.
Your suggestion seems well worth investigating even though a few of the customer reviews are negative - not that I put much store by those. Let's hope the company has made improvements since my original purchase.
Thanks for your help.
Cheers. D
In the Questions in that link it tells you how to set a station.
Easy enough to send back to Amazon if it doesn't suit

Thanks again, Barry. I'll have a go on my old one in a minute.

Cheers
Simple forget silly old fashioned radios. Get a decent Bluetooth speaker and drive it from tour phone either direct from the station's app or using TuneIn Radio app.
My EA Megaboom sounds better than any radio and is waterproof too.
