I have a Digital TV with integrated Freeview [so no seperate box] - does any one know if I can tune the video to record freeview? I have tried doing a rescan on the video to find the stations but nothing happened. Thanks!

Try turning your video to the AV settings. I did that and can tape from the freeview no problem.

There is a TV tuner in your TV and a TV tuner in your Video.

When you record a program on your video recorder you are actually recording it from the TV tuner inside the video player.

So the fact you have a freeview box on your TV makes no difference to the TV tuner in your video recorder, it will not pick up freeview.

As someone else said, switch to the AV setting on your video, you may more than one, AV1, AV2 etc.

It should explain all that in your documents that came with the TV and Video.

The snag is you cant set your video timer to record events and you have to watch the programme on the AV channel when it is actually recording.
