SMS alert for email

Does anyone know where you can get a sms message to let you know that you have an email.

I know that orange do this service, but I am no longer an orange customer. Preferably a free service, but if it has to be paid for then so be it.

it isn't free but yahoo http://www.yahoo.com email do sms alerts. you can be selective as to when you are alerted. you could simply only be alerted when you get an email from one email address or all!

you can do it with hotmail as well. Again, it isn't free but you could reply to the e-mails via your phone and contact your friends who are logged on to msn.
