We've got rain for the first time since 27th June. Not how long it's going to last though but it's a start.

I drove up from the SW to SE today. Expected it to be raining and the roads really greasy but it was as dry as a bone.

E. Yorkshire. We've had a haar overnight for over a week. It was thick and cold last night and lasted through the day until 3-ish. No rain as such, more like a wet mist - windscreen of parked car is nicely, finely spotted. Could do with a good soaking - the veg. really need it.

Thunder and rain here still - very bad overnight, my garden was flooded, the ground so hard the water could not get through as most landowners found with the rain today. Most counties in Ireland had the thunder weather warning removed at 4pm today, I'm in one of the counties that is still experiencing rain and thunder, I'll not complain :)

You're right, rain has stopped. Lasted 20 minutes so at most.
