after a fretful day yesterday, i have rearranged for my orthopedic team appointment for Monday next and patient transport to collect me, hopefully they will show up this time.

all day on the phone, begging, pleading and being driven mad by the fact that so many hospital staff are working from home. I got it all sorted by 4pm, but i had started ringing around by 9am...

I bet you were frazzled, but you could not have got a better result imo. After all, you have to do it all yourself so I applaud your efforts. You have put a big smile on my face with the news :)

i appreciate your company, believe me, i was frazzled but pleased i finally got it sorted. its amazing how many calls i made in the end to get this far, still it's done and now just have to wait till Monday.

You must have gone to bed exhausted and probably with a headache but it must have been satisfying to know you got the result you needed.

I am ok ta. If it is dry today I may well put the battery back on my car, I had to charge it up as it hadn't been used for a while. Need to get some petrol for it too, that will cheer me up no doubt.

lol, my remark was a bit tongue in cheek for the price of petrol but at least it is not a twin tank Jaguar, emmie. Mind you, if I could afford a Jag the petrol would probably not bother me. I see we are in for some lower temperatures shortly so it will be good to have both cars operational. I do a lot of driving to the hospital these days.

the forecast here is for a cold day, partly sunny with a high of 7c, not a day to be out, i have a friend coming over later for a natter

I'm doing OK, emmie. I also had a hospital appointment on Monday, but thankfully mine went a lot better than yours. I walked out of there with a 3 month prescription of $7,000 worth of medicine!!
