I had not used my kobo reader for about six years. During last years lockdown my husband started reading one of the books on it and has now asked me to get the next book in the series. When I first went into Kobo I was informed that my account had been deactivated. After a frustrating few minutes I was told that my account had been reactivated. I duly went and ordered the book for my husband. However I cannot find it on the kobo reader. I have been into my account and it says that I have purchased the book. I am getting to the end of my tether now - could it have something to do with the fact that the reader has been out of action for so long ?

How did you buy the book - through the Kobo or via the website or desktop app?

I buy from the desktop app & then open the Kobo to download the book over wi-fi.
Have you synched your Reader? Is your Reader connected to the internet?

Thank you for your help. Now please don't shout at me but after having a frustrating morning I twigged that since I had not used it for a few years the blooming email address had changed. So sorry !
No shouting here, just glad you've got it sorted - happy reading, Mr Ch :-)
