Morning, emmie, I hope that you are OK. Later on today I have to get some blood work done at the hospital, and after that I think I'll get some take-out halibut, chips, and mushy-peas...I haven't had those for quite a while.

morning Sanmac, apart from searing pain which won't be gone in a hurry, i am ok, if i don't move, stand, then it's manageable. Catch 22 they call it,
that sounds like a nice supper.... mushy peas doesn't seem like a Canadian thing, but what do i know....

I first came across mushy-peas when I went to a restaurant years ago owned by a British couple They are quite tasty with malt-vinegar and salt. As I mentioned before, my wife was in great pain with her knees until she got knee implants/replacements...You should maybe consider doing that.

its not up to me about knee replacement, the doctors will decide presumably after i have had the MRI scan, what's to be done.
THere would likely be a very long waiting list for it anyway, with covid taking precedence according to the MSK clinician i spoke to last friday.

i don't really like Mushy peas, i prefer the ordinary garden pea variety, though i haven't had those for a while either.

Yes, you're right, the Covid situation has really complicated hospital priorities. Anyway, I hope that eventually your situation gets sorted out.

me too sanmac, what's hard is not going out, i need a couple of things from the chemists, so i might have to ask a mate to pick them up for me.

how is the weather now sanmac, are you still snowed under... it's quite cold here and some parts of the country have been told to expect snow. though i don't think the capital will be hit by it, at least i hope not.

Last Monday we got about 2 feet of snow, but most of it has been removed, but it's still cold...Right now it's -23.

No problem really, emmie, My sister will drive me to the hospital. that will certainly keep you warm and toasty sanmac, i have something similar, though i haven't needed to wear it as its not been really freezing, not like your temperatures.
