How do I do a reverse image search on the internet (like they do on Catfish)?

I’ve tried a few websites, but even when I ask them about pics that I know are on my FB page, they come back with “no results”.

Go to https://images.google.com/
Click the camera icon you see in the search box

Follow it from there ...
Are the images on your Facebook page public?
Try TinEye:

www.tineye.com

I've been using it for years and it's great.

It may be that your own personal pics, like pics you've taken with a camera, are not indexed by FB which would make them impossible to find by normal means. TinEye searches for photos in that are in the public domain on the Internet so that anyone can come across them. If your pics are private, you might be out of luck.
i think tin eye is better than google images
There is also an ipad app Reversee
