Im sure the majority of us do it just to comply (and not to be insulted by other face nappy wearers)
How many of us 'comply' safely though? Not supposed to wear a disposable more than once, not supposed to fiddle with it, supposed to clean hands before putting it on, disinfect hands after use etc.
How the hell can someone keep up with it all?
How can I clean my hands when out on a van all day or disinfect my hands.
How can I not fiddle with it when it keeps creeping down my face.

Its suppost to be to protect others so heres an idea...where one yourself. Shop keepers/employees, YOU wear one if you want my business.

And protect ME...

No.
Just do your best fella, nobody can ask for more than that.
Why don't we all just pull together, do what we're asked to do and then we'll get through this problem.

Agree with JTH.
I'm amazed how many wear them under their nose or as a chin warmer
Get a good fitting mask. Cleaning hands isn't difficult for an adult.
There is plenty of good information about masks to be found for those who want do the right thing.
nailit stop whinging and get on with it.

All the post does is to show how selfish some people can be, imo.
I wear mine on the school runs but there are only a handful of us that do. The school gates are crowded with parents, most of whom don't wear them.

It is if your vehicle doesnt have clean running water.
As a lot of lorry drivers found found during the last lockdown
I'm happy to conform when there required and always have one on me when I leave the house ( when I could leave that is :0)
Get the washable ones. They fit better.

Try my best.
hand sanitizer?
// The school gates are crowded with parents, most of whom don't wear them. //

there's no legal requirement to wear face coverings in the open air. at least not yet; that's likely to change before long.
Nailit, just get yourself some hand sanitizer. It may not be as effective as handwashing, but it's better than nothing. Maybe get a box of gloves too.
It's too easy for most of us to find reasons not to do something sometimes.
Yes it is it you put it like that nailit.
I wear the same “disposable” ones all the time.
There was a chap in the supermarket earlier shopping with his jacket zipped up round his mouth.
I’m happy to wear it though
Anything for a quiet life
Soapy water in a spray bottle & either paper towels/towel.
I’d be amazed if many people “do the right”
And that’s the point.
Nagging nailit just because he’s put his head above the parapet may make us feel good but it won’t really help in the grand scheme of things
