depends on what you want. The whole battery issue puts me off.

that's a very old issue. you'll find that most of the other mp3 players (with built-in rechargeable batteries) suffer from the same problem.

all rechargeable batteries die eventually; it's a fact.

I got an iPod shuffle and it was totally faulty. Great Xmas present that was.
