im quite techy Zac (for my age haha), the link took me to DAR I will see if i can get to Amazon for it, many thanks
do you have the amplifier already, or are you, say, looking for a speaker for a dot?
I know the link takes you to DAR. It takes you to a link which tells you how to connect your Alexa to your HiFi which I presume is what you meant. Connecting it to an amplifier alone would be useless.
Question Author
I still cant see the exact connector I need named so I can order it off Amazon
Question Author
so what if I connected the amp to my phone?
I have done it before for a charity night I did but I cant find the connector I used
Question Author
that's to an Amp btw
Question Author
no, I have the Amp (borrowed) Bednobs I have been asked to do something this Thursday which will require an amplifier
i don't think you can directly connect an echo to an amp, but i'm willig to be told im wrong!
The amp is useless if it doesn’t have speakers.

I am assuming it is an aux to phone rather than an alexa I will need?
the amp/speaker is what my neighbour uses to play his guitar Zaz so im thinking it has to be a speaker?

Question Author
I think I have confused amp with speaker to be honest ( what do I know) so I am looking for a connector between phone and speaker, I will follow Zacs link , I remember it being an aux, red and yellow to speaker with a 8 mm jack to phone, would that be right?
Question Author
Barry I looked at that but the aux ends look a bit 'stubby'
I reckon the friend who is lending the equipment will have the cable. As long as there is a standard headphone jack on one end it will do.
Question Author
I am getting it later , thanks for you help Barry
Maybe we should redefine ‘quite techy’
Question Author
^^^ to dense? Okay :0)
