A wireless router connected to your broadband modem, and either a dongle or a card inside your computer to receive the signal.
Do'nt know if this will help but I have just bought a D-Link wireless router from PC World cost about 60, my 13 year old son installed it in about 10 mins, works a treat with pc upstairs.

If it is the only PC, you will need a wireless modem/router connected to the phone line and a power source and an access point for the PC.

However to set the modem/router up you will need to wire it up to the PC initially.
