If items are missing when my order arrives, will Tesco refund the money back to my credit card? I gave them the credit card details when I placed my order. Thanks all

Yes they will and also refund for any substitutes you may reject when your order arrives.
They have also suspended monthly delivery pass charges for those who have them due to the difficulty in regular shoppers being unable to book a slot.

Thanks Mamalynne
Sainsbury's only take the money from the card when the order has been made up, so usually no need for a refund as they only charge for what they've delivered rather than what you ordered.. On one delivery 2 bottles of wine got broken and they were refunded with no problem.

I was lucky to get a slot at Tesco. No slots at Morrison’s, ASDA, Waitrose, Sainsbury’s.
You were, I last had a delivery on the 19th March and couldn't get a new slot until the 13th April - still at least they aren't charging me for a pass I can't use.
Mamy, are Tesco still letting you change things if you book a slot. My mum really needs home delivery in 3 weeks time as I won't be about as much to help her. I told her to grab a slot and then put in what she needs as the week goes on. Can you still do that.
yes they are
I agree with Bednobs.
Once you have a slot you can start shopping putting your bank card details in then you can add anything as many times as you want up to 11.45pm on day before delivery. You can then go into 'My Orders' and each time you add or deduct anything you have to 'check out' and verify your bank details, this then keeps the changes made and an email is sent confirming changes.
Meant to add that you are only charged once even though you have had to check out after each change.
Is the correct order book slot, then shop, finally give card details?
I was able to register with Tescos after getting short shrift from Sainsbury's. I put in my email address, but couldn't continue as I'd not received a text message that identifies me as in the group that is prioritised, never mind as a customer. In spite of being 72.
I then tried to go into my nectar account...I've NEVER been able to access it. I go round and round in circles and give up...they want me to talk to a representative while I'd rather email them. It's just easier to put down what's happening...and how peed off I am... in writing.
I'm not in love with Sainsbury's anymore.
Thanks all. There’s a lot of moaning about Sainsbury’s on Facebook
