I bought this kitchen scale and wanted to use it right now but I can't get it to do anything. My neighbour lent me her kitchen scales.
Anybody tell me how to get it working - thanks

JJ have you got electronic bathroom scales? They will have a battery which you could remove and put in your kitchen scales.

If you've never used it at all, there might be a thin piece of plastic between the battery and the terminal it connects to. You need to remove that so that the battery can do its job.
Many discount stores sell packs with several of those button cell batteries in them for just a pound or two, so it wouldn't cost you much to try another battery.

If you need a manual, see here:

(Those manuals are generally multi-lingual but, if you scroll down far enough, you'll get to the English instructions eventually).

Its a touch sensitive switch.
As has been suggested check the battery - its probably a 2032 which you will get quite easily (Poundland,Tesco, Timsons etc.)
Once you get it going, you can change units (g, oz, ml etc) by touching the left button, and reset the scale to zero even with something on the scale (tare)
