I have encountered problems while travelling when I try to email and can't find the "@" symbol on some foreign keyboards. What combination of key strikes produces the "@"?

Given that the ampersand is an essential part of every e-mail address, I'm very surprised that you can't find it on some keyboards!

If you hold down 'Alt' and type 64 on the numeric keypad (not on the number keys at the top of the keyboard) you should get the correct symbol.
