No rain here, Minty. Lovely sunshine...too hot to be outside.
It's sunny here but very close. It's definitely threatening. The thunder on Wednesday morning was so bad it even woke me up (this is very unusual because I sleep so soundly its apparently easier to wake the dead).
Yesterday, the BBC issued a warning about possible localised flooding after 4pm today. I think they've changed their tune, as it's lovely here at the moment.

Sunny and only partially cloudy in Bewdley.
Just had a massive thunderstorm and a downpour for about 45 mins. Then the sun came out and everywhere was steaming like Malaya. Good job I spent a bit of time caning up and supporting the Digitalis. Peonies, and giant Poppies or they would all be flat.

was "phew what a scorcher" up 'till 30 mins ago, I was out watering everywhere !
Hot and sunshiney here Minty x
Minty, you were watering the garden when we have been warned to expect lots of rain almost everywhere this afternoon? Not related to my old Provost Sergeant, are you? Serving 21 days detention (Army equivalent of the naughty step) back in the day and the Provo told me and 2 others to go and water the flowers outside the Officer's Mess. "It's pouring buckets, out there, Sarge" i offered. "Well put your raincoats on, then" he bellowed (all Provo Sgts like to bellow). Despte the fact that we didn't need to water the plants, he sent us anyway because it was on his list. (all Provo Sgts are as thick as the proverbial 2 short ones).
