And he's not well now.

Unusually for him he went to be tired and achy and got up at half past midnight to be sick. He then sat on the sofa a with the 'snuggled blanket' with a bowl and went back up at about five. Just back down now having been sick again.

No school for him today I think.

not a good idea to send him to school like this, could you phone the surgery for advice? just in case he is like it for more than one day.
Question Author
I will keep him off school. I don't think he could make it there and it is only 100 yards away.

We do keep a special eye on him for these sort of things because he has had heart surgery when he was a baby. I wonder if there are any contraindications for heart children? I will phone the surgery when they open.
What is "Ds?"
I presume he has had an MMR booster or 2nd dose?
Not an uncommon reaction and keep him off school today and give him Paracetamol and it will have settled by Sunday.
Heart surgery will not be a complicating factor here.
Sqad..

DS - dear son.

DD - dear daughter.

DH - dear husband (Or in my case PITA - pain in the @r5e)

NoM....LOL...thanks.
Why "dear?".......why not "my son?"

Good morning.
Lord knows!

OkThank you.

He is napping on the sofa again just now. It really isn't like him. He is usually a chipper pain in the jacksie.
Ah. I wondered what DS was too. Should've bought a cheaper one; they're better value.
is it double maths on a friday?
My Grandson had his 3-in-1 booster last week and was the same for 24 hours, sure he'll bounce back soon.
Question Author
Na, double maths was yesterday lol
I think the DS is a weird imported Mumsnet thing, I didn't know what it was when I first saw it either, but I do hope he's okay Cassa. Let us know how he gets on and hope he's better soon xxx
Question Author
Thank everyone.

He is sleeping like a baby.... actually no when he was a baby he cried a lot lol

I'm sure at the back of his mind he is thinking maybe a bit later he can play Pokemon for hours. But he hasn't even the energy for that at the moment (shock , horror)

He'll have to miss scouts this evening as well which will really pee him off.
Question Author
Apparently according to DD there were quite a few off today because of the jabs.

In the end DS spent most of the day under the snuggy blanket and at about 1pm went to bed for a nap. He didn't come down till half four for something to eat and had perked up a bit because a couple of his friends came round for tea.

He didn't go to Scouts today but we think he will be fine by the morning.
